Okay, this isn't funny. Apparently, now the government has the right to look through our personal blogs, sites, and yes emails! I know this is supposedly to "protect" the people, but seriously! Haven't people learned from the Patriot Act of 2001?

This is one of my sources know, not the best, but still worthy to look at:

snowl4e.tumblr.com/post/443643…

This is our privacy that is being invaded. They have the right to show others what is in our personal social media and that, is unconstitutional in my opinion. It is the first amendment in THAT GODDAMNED PIECE OF PAPER THAT IS FALLING APART IN THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES IN WASHINGTON DC.

Fourth Amendment: Privacy of the person and possessions as against unreasonable searches

I, for one, have nothing to hide. But I don't want to be called up or sent letters that I am suspected of suspicious activity because I'm buying something on ebay or the mere idea that my space is being invaded by total strangers. They already know who I am, where I live, what we're doing with our lives, why give them more?

So I say, sign the petition. Just imagine, your drawings on here, stories, polls, cosplays from simple to the more R-rated stuff will be viewed by government officials.

I don't know about others, but I'd find that quite embarrassing.

Those who agree can sign the petition below:

petitions.whitehouse.gov/petit…

We are very, very short on petition signers and the petition deadline is March 15th so in regards to my last words

SPREAD THE WORD

-Yuka, out!

EDIT: People outside the US (aka of different nationality) can sign too or so I've heard! You're signature would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
